ABOUT US
Badger Pets and Handlers, commonly called Badger-PAH, officially came to be on April 9th, 2017. What originally started as a group of friends who shared a common interest has turned into a rapidly growing community with members in several states. Something that sets us apart from other Pet and Handler groups is that we focus on including and including members across the entire state of Wisconsin rather than around just a city or small area.
The core mission of Badger Pets and Handlers is to spread knowledge of pet and handler play across the state of Wisconsin, to be a positive force in serving our community, and to provide a diverse forum where individuals can come together and exchange ideas in a safe and welcoming environment. Our specific mission is threefold:
- Education: We believe that education is one of the most positive influences on society. Pet and handler play is a niche culture born within other marginalized groups of people. Ignorance leads to distrust and negativity, therefore we will take the lead on bringing valuable knowledge and insight from our world to the people of Wisconsin. We have two specific educational missions:
- To provide unbiased information to our members on safety when engaging in pet play, navigation of interpersonal relationships, physical and mental risks, consent, and benefits to personal well being
- To educate the public on what we do, why it is important to us, and what we give back to the community.
- Service: As members of marginalized backgrounds, we are keenly aware of the day-to-day struggles people face both within and outside our community. We believe that by uniting for the common good, we can better serve those who are in need. Our service mission focuses on helping members of the LGBTQ+ community gain access to the resources they need through fundraising, advocacy, and providing trusted points of contact and information for those in need of physical or mental services.
- Community: We believe there are many people who are interested in pet play, but that visibility and communication are needed to inform them that they have like-minded individuals who share in their thoughts and struggles. Furthermore, we need spaces and events where our community can safely come together so that knowledge and ideas can be exchanged with diverse people from all over the state and beyond. We wish to provide those spaces to our community so that we may all grow together in unity, wisdom, and fraternity.

1) Give us an interesting fact about yourself. |
I’m ambidextrous and have no dominant eye, so I find it really difficult to remember left and right. It makes taking directions while I’m driving very difficult… |
2) When did you join Badger-PAH, and why did you decide to join? |
I officially joined at the beginning of 2023, when Pup Magnus finally convinced me to stop lurking and put myself out there. I became part of the Pet Play Community to make more friends and help others find their way as pets. |
3) What’s one goal you’d like to achieve while serving on the Board of Directors of Badger-PAH? |
I’d like to see us use our budget more consistently to ensure that every local pet and handler feels that membership in the organization is worth their time and money. |

1) Give us an interesting fact about yourself. |
My elbows can bend in both directions. The first time I found out this was abnormal was in high school I was leaning on a desk and I made the student next to me scream when he saw it. |
2) When did you join Badger-PAH, and why did you decide to join? |
I joined in 2022. I had already met many of the members through local community events that I happened to randomly stumble into, and clicked pretty well with them. I had been interested in pet play for a long time but never had a chance to explore it, and enjoy it as a means to express myself in a variety of ways. |
3) What’s one goal you’d like to achieve while serving on the Board of Directors of Badger-PAH? |
I want to make sure Badger-PAH feels like a welcoming, fun, and safe organization for exploring and embracing a variety of forms of self-expression. |

1) Give us an interesting fact about yourself. |
I enjoy skydiving and have gone several times. |
2) When did you join Badger-PAH, and why did you decide to join? |
I joined Badger-PAH in June of 2018 when I worked with Sir Ignis to merge Badger-PAH and Wis-PAH into one organization that could help build and grow our community. |
3) What’s one goal you’d like to achieve while serving on the Board of Directors of Badger-PAH? |
One goal I have is to increase the diversity of our organization in terms of pet species, and the age, gender and race of our membership. |

1) Give us an interesting fact about yourself. |
I’ve never peeled an orange, and I will not just so it can continue to be my weird fact! |
2) When did you join Badger-PAH, and why did you decide to join? |
I joined early in 2024 after getting to know some pets in Madison. I wanted to make new friends and have more opportunities to pup out with great folks! |
3) What’s one goal you’d like to achieve while serving on the Board of Directors of Badger-PAH? |
I want us to support other kink and queer groups so we, as members and an organization, can broaden our community in a safe and welcoming way that opens pet play to more people. |
